E-learning is often used to train the product knowledge of employees, sales-personnel and dealers. To achieve this end, interactive product presentations are used.
You can either create a product database in Composite, or, in cases with only few products, you can simply create individual pages presenting each product. Often you would like to integrate to an already existing product database in order to avoid maintaining product data in several places. Composite CMS can handle this integration for you and no matter which solution you opt for, the product database can be managed in Composite – no programming whatsoever.
In connection with sales training it may be valuable to attach an FAP table to each product. FAP stands for Facts-Advantages-Profit and means that instead of simply presenting product facts you also present and explain the advantages the product offers and how the customer’s may profit from buying and using the product. In this way you improve the user’s product knowledge and his or her ability to translate this knowledge into sales.
Product data, illustrations and FAP-tables can be maintained in Composite.
